Lake Windsor

Lake Windsor covers 220 acres and has a maximum depth of 80 feet. It is a private man-made lake maintained by the Bella Vista's Property Owners Association.  Lake Windsor is one of the seven lakes in the Bella Vista Village and boasts being the second largest. Finished in 1975, Lake Windsor offers members a fantastic place to water ski, swim, and fish, while sitting against a backdrop of the Ozark Mountains.

Lake Windsor is a multi-purpose lake. Water skiing and tubing are of course encouraged and for those wishing to fly across the surface of the lake, this is the place. Lake Windsor is an unlimited power lake, but be sure to follow the villages rules and regulations. Water sports are only allowed in designated areas.

A fisherman's favorite, Lake Windsor provides some of Bella Vista’s best largemouth bass, bluegill, redear, catfish and crappie fishing, and is one of only two Bella Vista lakes allowing tournament fishing.

The village of Bella Vista offers a plethora of activities; visitors and residents of Lake Windsor are allowed to use any of the facilities with in the village. The shoreline of Lake Windsor is mainly comprised of single-family residences, but townhouses can be found as well. Vacation rentals are available for anyone who would like to spend some time in this charming community.

Lake Windsor and the surrounding lakes are the main attraction of the area, however many paved walking trails , and of course Bella Vistas seven golf courses are weaved throughout this lakeside community. Trek below the Windsor Lake Dam and you will come across an unexpected waterfall and a small recreation area with rapids created by the falls.
