Lake Buckhorn – is a private and gated 1,100+ acre community encompassing a 220 acre man-made lake. This 300+ home community located in Millersburg Ohio boasts beautiful views of the lake and an array of wildlife. Just one and half hours from Columbus and Cleveland, this private and rural set lake is perfect for a weekend get-away!  

 

Lake / Beach – The 220-acre lake is exceptionally clean and clear with an average depth of 30 to 50 feet. There are no horsepower restrictions at Buckhorn and jet skis are allowed as well. Although there are size restrictions on boats, kayaking, canoeing and tubing are all great and fun activities allowed at the lake! There are also two separate beaches at Lake Buckhorn with pavilions, picnic areas, sand volleyball courts and playgrounds for the kids!

 

Offshore Amenities – The community also has an abundance of activities to enjoy away from the lake. There are tennis courts, a basketball court and a baseball field all available for use. The community also has a fantastic clubhouse known as Lakeview Hall with a full kitchen and area large enough for big social events. The community also has two separate fishing ponds located just north of Lake Buckhorn, where anglers can find a vast array of fish! To top it off there are half a dozen water-common areas where offshore residents can walk to launch a kayak or fish from!

 

Nearby Activities – Although Lake Buckhorn is filled with fun activities for the whole family, there are also several attractions nearby just in case. Right outside the community rests the Black Diamond Golf Course, a challenging course meant only for the most avid of players. The community also sits close to Amish Country, which hosts a range of activities including educational museums, cheese houses, quilting shops, the largest retailer of non-electric appliances and good old fashioned fun on the farm! Also, nearby is the Kilbuck Marsh Wildlife Area. This 5,761-acre area is filled with natural wildlife and natural sightseeing as it is the largest marshland outside of the Lake Erie region.
