In the heart of New Hampshire's Monadnock region, Swanzey Lake sits at a mere 108 acres. The lake was created from a natural, spring-fed pool by damming the outlet. Swanzey lake is fully recreational with the exception of jet skis. The lake is entirely private except for the small park and swimming beach open to local residents only. A car-top boat launch is among the amenities, providing residents with the opportunity to kayak, canoe, and sail. Fishing is also allowed. Swanzy Lake is a designated trout lake with special regulations in place and should be verified. Many other species of fish can also be found.
