This 190 acre pond nestled between Lake Sunapee and Georges Mill is a wonderful place to stay and play. The pond has an active non-profit associaton called the Otter Pond Protective Assocaition consisting of immediate landowners and others interested in preserving the quality of the lake.  Currently the water quality is Mesotrophic and has intermeidate levels of biological activity due to the medium nutrient levels in the water. The lake is usually clear with submerged aquatic plants.
