Millen Lake Association purpose: to oversee the conservation and stewardship of Millen Pond in Washington, NH and to foster friendship and fellowship amongst those who live there. The Millan Lake Association received a grant in 2008 to acquire water testing equipment so that they can continue to be part of the Department of Environmental Services Volunteer Lake Assessment Program and to encourage new volunteers to the program and facilitate water testing on Millen Pond. Currently the group must borrow equipment from the DEs in Concord and this limits the days they can test and the ability to attract new volunteers. Camp Morgan is close to the Clark Robinson Memorial Forest that contains most of Oak Hill. The Camp Morgan property has thousands of feet of unspoiled shoreline surrounding the northern end of Millen Pond.
