Gumpas Pond is a 93 acre Mesotrophic Pond with an average depth of 7 ft and a maximum depth of 22 ft has no public boat access. Considered one of Pelham's hidden gens it is surounded by conservation area and trails with historic stone walls. While is is a poular spot for birdwatching, paddling and kayaking, there is no public, designated boat ramp. The Gumpas Pond Preservation Associaiton manages the area including the dam. Each year in October they draw down the water for the winter.
