Shaw Pond is a shallow, warm water pond that is long and thin in shape. The shoreline is only moderately developed with both seasonal and year-round homes, mostly along the west shore. The east side of the lake is undeveloped and made of steep terain but very scenic. Non-native aquatic weeds are moderate and being treated by the town. There is no know lake association.

Fishing Comments: Pickerel are the primary catch here and Yellow Perch are abundant. Shoreline fishing is limited to the boat ramp area.
Fish Species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Chain Pickerel, Black Crappie, Yellow Perch, Brown Bullhead, Sunfish, Bluegill, White Sucker, Bridle Shiner

Ramp Comments: The DCR manages the surfaced ramp off Route 8, mostly for shallow draft boats and car-top boats.

Directions: Mass Pike to exit 2, west on Route 20, south on Route 8 in West Becket for 1/2 mile to access area.
