Queen Lake is a long and narrow great pond with a rocky bottom and many coves. The shoreline is moderately developed with mostly year-round homes. Public access is limited to the town beach and boat ramp. The public beach on the south end of the lake is open for swimming. The beach is open to Phillipston residents only. The Queen Lake Association meets annually on the second Saturday of July. The Association Board of Directors meet twice yearly: on the last Saturday in June and again in the autumn.
