Long Pond is located in the village of Centerville. Surface flows into and out of the pond occur during higher groundwater conditions; coming in from a Wequaquet Lake herring riun and discharging to the Centerville River. Groundwater flows into the pond along its northern shores and discharges along its southern shores. There is a boat ramp located on Piney Pont Drive and a town beach on theeastern end off of Pine Street. Recreational uses including boating, swimming and fishing. Long Pond is surrounded by densely developed single family homes.
