This is a nice sized lake for the area and is fully recreational. It is tucked away in the woods but is close to all amenities. The lake has a mix of cottages and well-appointed homes and is a popular boating spot. There is no boat ramp for public access so this keeps traffic to a minimum in the summer. This is a great lake for a pontoon boat…there is a lot of shoreline to follow, entertain your guests and check out the wildlife.  Some of the coves in the main lake are quite weedy but great for fishing. There’s a small basin that is part of this lake also (to the left of the Mirimichi St Bridge) but should not be confused with the main lake. It has some homes on it but the small basin is not navigable by power-boat...but does make for a good canoe and kayaking area. There does not appear to be an active lake association. The location is just 25 minutes to TF Green Airport in Providence and about 50 minutes from Logan Airport in Boston.
