Lake Terramuggus is located in the town of Marlborough, Connecticut. Consisting of 83 acres, with an average depth of 21 ft and a maximum depth of 43ft, this lake boasts exceptionally clear water. Terramuggus is an oligotrophic lake with low diversity and low abundance of aquatic plants which aids in that clarity.

Being town owned keeps this hidden gem available only to residents and private lakeside homes. There is a boat launch and municipal or lake association beaches available to Marlborough residents as well. During the summer months lifeguards are stationed and swim lessons are offered.

Lake Terramuggus is mostly developed with single family homes. Boat motors are restricted to no more than 3.3hp. Most frequently seen on the water are small fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and sailboats.
