Potowomut Pond is a small, 19 acre pond with a DEM Fishing Access Site on the east side. The shoreline here is gravel and very suitable for launching hand carried boats into the pond. Some of the shore of the pond has been built up with houses, but much of the shoreline is wooded. It is a long narrow pond and if you paddle up to the north end you can explore a little ways up the Hunt River. This pond is stocked with trout during the early spring. Nearest Town Center: East Greenwich.
