Lower Sprague is a small 25 acre reservoir with high vegetation.  Great for views, nature, and non-motor boat fishing. The dam is listed in the 2018 High Risk list and is owned by Breakwater Preservation Conservancy. EPA – listed as a Category 5. No boating.  Good for views and fishing. Dam number 121 (Sprague Lower) in Smithfield The dam was inspected in May 2017 and DEM issued an NOV to the owner in September 2017 for the unsafe conditions.
