Boone lake is a private lake with 48 acres of water and one of the cleanest spring feed lakes in RI. There is a maximum 45hp motors rule and no jet skies allowed. It backs up to Arcadia State Forest and Beach Pond Management Area. With over 13,000 acres of bird sanctuary, horse trails, rivers, and lakes. Exeter is the second largest land areas in RI but only has about 8,000 people, mostly because of at least 2 acre zoning in most places other than the lake.
