Lake Waynoka is a private gated community located just 45 minutes from Cincinnati Ohio, and 2 hours from Columbus and Dayton Ohio. With over 4,000 lots and 700 homes this community has all the space you could want a lakefront experience. And with a 24-hour security team and a local police department, the community has an extra layer of security. Built in the 1970’s this lake has long been a highly valued area for potential lakefront buyers.

Lake / Marina / Beach – This private community is built around a 290-acre lake that, although doesn’t allow jet skis, doesn’t have a horsepower limit on boats. The lake also has privately run full-service Marina that offers repairs, winterization, fuel and a general store for boating and fishing needs. Lake Waynoka also has a clean and wonderful beach with playground equipment, a bathhouse and a pavilion. The lake itself is also filled with top of the line fishing opportunities to catch several types of bass, catfish and walleye.

Offshore Amenities – Lake Waynoka has a lot going for it in terms of things to do. There is a lodge and lounge open for rental, as well as a seasonal restaurant inside the lodge. There are also three outdoor pools during the summer months, two tennis courts, a basketball court and a baseball field. Waynoka also has a large campground with 261 sites, some of which are full service sites, as well as a pavilion with electrical hookups. To top it all off the residents have access to the Health and Rec Center built in 2004. This building offers an exercise room, basketball court, volleyball, indoor heated pool and spa, a game room and many community classes, events, and athletic leagues.

Nearby Activities – Lake Waynoka is in Brown County and there is no shortage of things to see and do. The county is home to 3 golf courses; Friendly Meadows, Buttermilk Falls and White Oak, all within driving distance of the Lake. The county is also home to several historical sites including the boyhood home and school of famous general and president Ulysses S. Grant, as well as the John Parker House and the Rankin House, both historical sites regarding the Underground Railroad and Abolition. The community is also close to two raceways; Route 68 Raceway and Moler Raceway, if you’re looking for some adventure. And of course, if getting in touch with nature is on the agenda the Grant Lake Wildlife Area and East Fork State Park are right down the road. And the list goes on!
