Charles Mill Lake – is a lake part of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District that is located in Mansfield Ohio, just one hour North of Columbus and one hour southwest of Cleveland, this peaceful and quiet lake is the perfect location for a get-a-way!
Lake / Beach / Marina – Charles Mill is a 1350 acre lake with a maximum depth of 24ft and 34 miles of shoreline. With a 10hp limit and no jet skis allowed, this lake is for people who love the peace and quiet but also enjoy sailing, recreational boating and fishing. As a public lake there is a public boat launch along with a public swimming beach. The lake has no boat size limits and the lake also has a year-round full service marina for all your boating needs! Charles Mill also has a wide variety of fish species for the avid angler!
Offshore Amenities – At the lake there are plenty of fun things to do! Charles Mill has over 500 campsites with nearby hiking trails including the Donaldson Hiking Trail. The lake also boasts a full size basketball court by the beach and a swimming pool at one of the campground locations. And if that doesn’t cut it there is also a shuffleboard court and a 9-hole Frisbee golf course.
Nearby Activities – Charles Mill has one of the largest selection of nearby activities to choose from. The lake has two ski resorts Snow Trails and Clearfork within driving distance, as well as three golf courses. If its’an adventure you’re seeking both Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, a permanent road racing circuit, and Mohican Adventures which offers horseback riding and zip lines, are within driving distance. Also nearby are several historical sites including the Mansfield Art Center, the Little Buckeye Museum, and the Ohio State Reformatory. For nature lovers there is the Kingwood Center and the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. And the list goes on!
