Newfound Lake is the third largest of the lakes that are situated wholly within the borders of New Hampshire and Newfound Lake real estate has proven especially popular because of its tranquil and unspoiled surroundings. The lake itself is fed by natural spring waters and is refreshed twice annually while much of the outlying region has been set aside for natural conservation.

Prestigious NH lake properties on Newfound Lake include rustic cottages as well as large town houses. Lakeside NH properties don't just enjoy incredible views of the lake either and houses, villas, and cottages can be found that include their own mooring or dock alongside incredible scenes of natural beauty.

There are four towns on the shoreline of Newfound Lake – Alexandria, Bridgwater, Bristol, and Hebron; Bristol being the most populous but still with only 3,000 regular residents. Newfound Lake real estate offers you and your family the opportunity to enjoy a small town community while providing convenient access to amenities and larger districts just one or two hours by car.

The 4,451 acre lake offers excellent fishing and water sports opportunities while the local countryside and in particular Mount Cardigan further ensures that nature lovers and active families can enjoy year round activities. Every season in New Hampshire offers something different. The typically mild summer months are perfect for hiking and other summer outdoor pursuits while the snowy winter months are ideal for skiing and snowboarding.

New Hampshire lake properties on or near Newfound Lake are popular as getaway accommodation and for individuals and families that seek a more natural and friendly location. If you're looking for small town living but don't want to miss out on the benefits of having major recreational destinations just down the road then Newfound Lake real estate is some of the best there is.

The Newfound Lake Region Association's mission is to protect Newfound Lake and its watershed. The Association - through education, programs and collaboration - promotes conservation and preservation of the region's natural, social and economic resources.
