Launch behind the red building (formerly a pizza restaurant) to the right of the Castle building.
Put-In/Take-Out Directions ( 7.8 miles, 14 minutes):
From Exit 10 of the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rt. 90)
After the tollbooths, head southwest on I-84.
At mile 0.3, Keep right, follow signs for Route 12 South/Route 20 West/Charlton/Sturbridge and merge onto Route12 South.
At mile 1.0, at stop light, turn right onto West Street.
At mile 2.2, At the end of the street, at the stop sign, turn left onto Rochdale Street.
The road becomes Comins Road and then Comminsville Road.
At mile 3.1, at stop light, turn right onto Route 56 North.
At mile 5.5, at the stop sign turn right to stay on Route 56 North.
At mile 7.4, at stop light in the center of Leicester, turn left onto Route 9 West.
At mile 7.8, arrive at the Castle Restaurant on your right. Park behind the red building to the right of the restaurant. Cartop informal launch.
